At Transport Training Academy, we are a truck driver training facility operating from the same location as a trucking company. We understand from first hand experience, the skills that graduating students require to be attractive to the trucking industry. Our students receive extensive classroom training on Pre Trip Inspections, Log Books, Dangerous Goods, Hours of Service, Drugs and Alcohol, Defensive Driving to name some of the subjects. Training in our 9 acre Range (practice yard) will include, pre-trip inspections, coupling, backing, sliding bogeys and fifth wheel, load securement, scaling, weight distribution and many others. Our students are then teamed up with a experienced Driver/Trainer and by the time our graduates finish their course, they will have hauled a number of different loads, and will have real world experience. We believe that this hands on experience for every student is unique.

Our graduates will have full confidence in their ability to operate their vehicle safely and efficiently when they apply to potential employers. We are not focused on the number of hours a student has accumulated, but rather our focus is on when Transport Training Academy, and the student, feel the student is ready, and confident that he/she has the skills and driving experience that they will be fully able to assume their roll in the transportation industry.

We offer assistance to our students to find them a job suited to their needs. We hold many “get acquainted” sessions where prospective employers come to our facility and present the students with what they have to offer drivers in their company. We maintain extensive contacts with dozens of transport company recruiters with the list growing every month.
